Book Review

The Fire Bug Connection
this book's main character is a girl called Maggie went to a Bug Camp for Summer. Her parents are also going with her, they are all scientists. Her grandmother says "When a raven flies at you, there will be a murder,". At first Maggie doesn't believe it, but she start to believe it, because in the story her fire bugs will got murdered. People say it is because of her grandmother is from
other country and the country may have some strong beliefs. One day, her friend Grace brought ravens for her. She was quite scared. When it was Maggie's birthday, Maggie received firebugs
from Capek, but the firebugs died, Maggie tried to figure out why. Mitch, is a computer genius, Maggie always thinks he is terrible, but he helped her to figure out who is the murderer. Mitch did
experiments with all sorts of animals for Maggie too. They also learn the paper making process and how global warming is important. In the end, the tree is the murderer and summer is over.
At first, i thought this book is a very boring and useless book, because it is talking about something that does't even get close to the fire bugs. And, readers want to know what will happened next, readers do not want to know the spiders, bats, and something that doesn't even bother the fire bugs. Even though first few chapters were very boring, but then , in the middle and last chapters it is start getting to be better. Because, fire bugs started to get murdered and they were finding the murderer. And i think it is very good that it talks about global warming and ozone hole, let people know how bad and how will it effect the animals or bugs. So, actually i think this book is not bad.

i recommend this book to the people in grade 6 or grade 5 and love bugs, spiders, bats, and other animals people. i recommend this book to these people, because in this book it tell us a lot of information about that kind of stuff. I also this the person who like science and mysteries would like this book.
